Vidalia Owners Testimonials

I purchased my Vidalia Grill in 2002. Before I owned a Vidalia Grill I cooked on charcoal grills only. Now I cook with gas or charcoal. The Vidalia Grill saves me so much time when I cook ribs, it used to take 6 hours to cook them, now I can do it in 2 hours. With the convection airflow, indirect cooking and marinating as you cook, this is the best grilling concept yet!

In the summer I use my Vidalia Grill four or five times a week so I don’t heat the kitchen up. I never cooked whole chickens on a grill before I bought the Vidalia Grill. Now I cook them at least once a week. They're so easy to cook and it comes out perfect every time. The quality and pride that goes into these grills is over the top.

I want to personally thank Vidalia Outdoor Products for finally coming up with the best grill I have ever cooked on. I love to grill and have been doing so for 22 years. I have gone through a lot of grill in that time. I now feel like I bought the last grill I will ever need. Thanks again for thinking of us, the consumer.

I have had my Vidalia 983 for two years. Living on the water in Florida, you may be grilling fish one day, and steaming shrimp, crabs or oysters the next. I purchased it for it's ability to do all of that and was pleasantly surprised to discover a few extras. Not only does it do all of these needs well, but I now cook roasts and turkeys without a rotisserie. Best of all, two years standing outside near the water, and the exterior still looks like the day I brought it home.

Dear Vidalia Outdoor Products,

I just had to let you know that I recently purchased a Vidalia Grill. I had seen it demonstrated at Bart Fireside in Columbia, SC and could not believe how moist and tender the ribs and boneless, skinless chicken breast were. When my husband and I got it home the first thing we cooked were steaks. In all my years (in case you are wondering 50+) I have never eaten a well-done steak that was still juicy after it was cooked.

I was impressed at the demonstration and even more impressed when we got our grill home. Thank you for making a grill that can cook a steak well done and still be moist and tender.

Vidalia Outdoor Products:

I’ve owned a Vidalia Grill since March 2002. I saw the grill being demonstrated at the local home and garden show and had been looking for a grill that can stand-up to the salt air condition we have here in Florida. I live on the intercoastal and have gazebo on my dock where I keep by grill. Normally a grill survives about two years before the salt air eats it alive. The Vidalia Grill is going on three years old and shows no signs of rust. I followed your directions for maintaining the Vidalia Grill and could not be more pleased with the results.

P.S. I didn’t mention this before, it is also the BEST cooking grill I have ever owned.

I like to cook in BBQ cooking competitions. Being from Memphis, TN we know a thing or two about grilling. I bought a Vidalia Grill 983 for my own personal use because of its ability to cook both direct and indirect. Immediately my BBQ ribs went from being good (better than most) to amazing. I called the guys I cook with and we started trying to figure out how we could cook with charcoal on a gas grill. One of the guys starting reading the owner’s manual and found out that the Vidalia Grill can cook with charcoal as well as gas. Thanks for providing us with a grill that we can compete with and win.

Just thought I would let you know that I cooked a 10 lb. Brisket complete with smoke ring in less than 7 hours on the Vidalia Grill. Normally it takes me 12 to 15 hours to cook a brisket.

Unbelievable

You guys named the Vidalia Grill incorrectly. It should be called the Vidalia Steamer. I like to steam lots and lots of seafood (crabs, clams, lobster, shrimp ..etc). My son gave me a Vidalia Grill 628 for Christmas last year with a note that said, “Next time you steam try this”. Well I must admit that I did not have high hopes that a grill could steam as well as seafood steamer, which is designed to steam. Not only do I own a great grill but a steamer that can steam with the best of them. I also made my wife happy because I’ve gotten rid of my steamer, charcoal smoker, and old gas grill and she has her deck back.

Thanks
